Two Little Farmers : Donegal

Culdaff :: Ireland

Can you believe these two aren't identical twins? Boys this cute with little brogue's... could have listened to them all day!

 I grabbed a quick portrait of my cousin's boys on the farm...

Jonathan & Shawna :: Ireland

Moville :: Ireland

My handsome cousin married a gorgeous gal and they make for a very good lookin' couple! Their wedding was an absolute blast & let's just say the Irish know how to do it up & throw a party! She looked like she was peeled from the pages of Vogue on her wedding day and I was excited for our mini session a few days later...

Here are a few favorites...

Ireland : Belfast : Derry

Ireland :: Donegal :: Belfast :: Derry

To say I had an amazing trip is an understatement... I love, love, love this place! If you've seen beautiful scenery in postcards it will pale in comparison to seeing it in person. People really are that cheery and it really is as green as they say. I hadn't been back to Donegal since I was a kid & it was amazing to be in a place where my mother and her family grew up with so many of my relatives. Driving on the wrong side of the road didn't become a challenge until my first drive back in Boston...oops :)

I was able to to check out Belfast and Derry too. I wanted to see two cities with so much history first hand...

Here are just a few ...

Belfast

Off to Ireland!

I am so excited to be heading to Ireland with my sister and a bunch of my aunts and cousins for a huge family affair! I will have plenty to blog about when I'm back home so stay tuned...

My web access will be very limited so I will be responding to all emails & inquiries when I return home.

Keep in mind this is not a tropical destination, please excuse my lack of a tan when you see me in July :)

And lastly, since posting without an image feels strange, here's a favorite I shot with my good friend Roberto last weekend...

Viva Las Vegas and L.A.!

::West Coast ::

I just got back from my week away on the west coast. I had a blast visiting LA and soaking up the warm California sun before we headed to Vegas for the annual WPPI convention.

Marianne and I got to town a day early so we could see the Beatles LOVE show. It was quite dizzying (in a good way) and you could tell everyone loved it because there were lots of people singing on the way out of the theater!

I loved meeting so many talented (and some very entertaining) photographers from all over. It's always a treat to get the wheels rolling by learning from some amazing speakers as well: Jesh de Rox, Jim Garner, Joe Buissink and Dennis Reggie were some of my favorites. Talk about inspiration!

*Side note: Jesh de Rox is bringing his workshop to the Boston area April 29th, 30th and 1st of May. I've heard amazing things about his Life As An Artform workshops and can't wait to attend this one. If you're a Boston area photographer, be sure to check out the info!

Brooklyn Bridge Kiss

Manhattan :: NYC

I wanted to share a recent favorite from my trip to NYC with my good friend & fellow photographer, Brittany Blando. We had a bit of an adventure from hot-tailing out of our hotel to fleeing speeding cabs!

These are some of Brittany's favorite wedding clients from the summer & so it was great to meet up with them in their home town. I'll have lots more to share later, but wanted to post a quick favorite!

San Francisco Treat ... part II

San Fran :: Park Sessions

Here's another fun session from my trip! Here are a couple favorites of these two cuties!

A San Francisco Treat!

Menlo Park :: San Fran

This little guy is unique...from his gorgeous eyes to his devilish personality. He kept me entertained and on my feet!

Here are a few favorites...

Off to San Fran!

9.26-10.02 :: San Francisco

I'm off to one of my favorite cities this week! I have a couple of families I'm excited to meet & one of my favorite couples is getting married at my favorite spot
... The Starlight Room!
It's a must on my San Fran to do list every time I visit. I'll have limited email until Tuesday of next week, but I will be sure to be in touch as soon as I can :-)
