::West Coast ::
I just got back from my week away on the west coast. I had a blast visiting LA and soaking up the warm California sun before we headed to Vegas for the annual WPPI convention.
Marianne and I got to town a day early so we could see the Beatles LOVE show. It was quite dizzying (in a good way) and you could tell everyone loved it because there were lots of people singing on the way out of the theater!
I loved meeting so many talented (and some very entertaining) photographers from all over. It's always a treat to get the wheels rolling by learning from some amazing speakers as well: Jesh de Rox, Jim Garner, Joe Buissink and Dennis Reggie were some of my favorites. Talk about inspiration!
*Side note: Jesh de Rox is bringing his workshop to the Boston area April 29th, 30th and 1st of May. I've heard amazing things about his Life As An Artform workshops and can't wait to attend this one. If you're a Boston area photographer, be sure to check out the info!

Introducing.... my new baby nephew! I'm so excited to be an auntie again and see this little guy grow! Here he is only hours old...
Here's my sister in her 9th month glory about to deliver her 3rd baby...& it's true what they say, 'good mothers start out by being good sisters.' She's funny. She's silly. She's reliable. She's maddening. She's someone I don't know what I'd do without. She was my first best friend and now the mom to another very lucky little guy. Congratulations! xoxo
Viva Las Vegas!
Marianne and I headed to Vegas for our 2nd annual adventure to the WPPI trade show at Bally's & Paris. We got meet & learn from amazing photographers including David Jay and Dane Sanders. It was great to be around so many motivational & inspiring photographers. It was the perfect round up to my west coast trip!
Thanks Maan for a great time! And for those gamblers wondering, I didn't get to see an Elvis impersonator (apparently I didn't look hard enough) but, I did win 62 bucks!!!
California Dreamin'
Anyone who knows me knows I am in love with....
I've always had an attachment to it long before I ever lived there & serendipitously I ended up in photography because of this place... I love palm trees, sunshine, the beach, The Grove....traffic....
It always makes me smile & I couldn't have been happier this early morning at the beach in Santa Monica. I loved this trip!
